FCP I cannot find my shared movie even though I ask for a copy to be saved in TV Library. FCP says Published in FFShareKinditunes with the date underneath but no means to access the shared file/movie. Once before there was a down arrow next to the date and you could click to get Reveal in Finder. This time there is no down arrow. Google does not recognise the above odd word!

Open the TV application and go to Home Videos. It should be in there.

I don't know why the Finder does not locate TV library content.

Did you export to Apple Devices? When you export to TV you have to grant share access to TV. If you did that it will be put in the Home Videos section of the TV application. The file's actual location will vary. It may be in Movies/Movies/Home Videos, but it will definitely appear in the TV application, unless you are storing content in iCloud.

If only it were that simple. I have created 40+ movies in FCP over the last eight years and the shared version was always in iTunes then TV. I specified that when starting this share. Recently I upgraded both iOS and FCP and now have this problem. A work around was the Inspector in FCP which told me the shared movie had been published, with an option to Reveal in Finder. I don’t have that this time, just confirmation that the movie has been published and when, but without access. Needless to say Finder can’t find it either without the Reveal option in FCP. Frustrating!
