Help with low memory on my IPad 6th generation
I am being directed to the App Store for a cleaner. Is this safe to use without deleting contacts, photos, passwords, etc.? What exactly will it delete from my iPad?

Nothing. It’s likely a scam. There are no third-party Apps that can “clean” your iPad filesystem.
You can check the available space on your iPad here:
Settings > General > iPad Storage
If your internal storage is full, you’ll need to manually manage the storage that you have - and delete unused Apps or unneeded data if needed.

External storage options can often help with managing limited internal storage.
