update my iPhone 6
I am running the version before 12.5.5 on my iPhone I am trying to get it up to date to 15 but it will not download the next update.... how can I get this done? it just keeps saying update requested and does nothing....

You cannot update to 15, due to hardware limitations, you can only update to 12.5.5 thats the latest iOS for the iPhone 6.

Update your iPhone using a Mac with macOS Catalina or higher
On a Mac with macOS Catalina or higher, you will use the finder in order to upgrade your iPhone. Make sure to Back up your device before starting the upgrade process.
