Iphone 13 lock sound

If we understand your post correctly, the lock sound on your iPhone is sometimes too low and sometimes too loud. We'd like to help!

It's possible that this is occurring due to one of two things happening in Sounds & Haptics.

In Settings > Sounds & Haptics, is Change with Buttons enabled?

If so the lock sound, ringer, and other alerts will mirror the volume you've set, and potentially adjusted, for your iPhone using the volume buttons on the side. 

While in Sounds & Haptics let's check he Ringer and Alerts volume to ensure it is set to a volume you want.

If you'd like to disable the Lock Sound entirely so it's not affected by the volume you choose for other alerts, tap Settings > Sounds & Haptics > disable Lock Sound.

Just to be sure we’re understanding, the volume raises and falls but the sound itself remains the same, correct?

If so, disable Attention Aware following the steps in this article, and test: Turn Attention Aware features on or off on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support
