iPad Air onscreen typing is glitchy

Typing onscreen is abysmal on the iPad Air. Is there a patch for this? I have rebooted and updated the IOS and it’s not making it better. It randomly rotates the following issues during use throughout the day …

- Text freezes on the screen only option is to select all, copy, paste then star typing again;

- it won’t accept spell check options;

- it will randomly just start adding a double spacing between every word that is typed…for entire paragraphs;

- it will not auto capitalize consistently;

-it will add additional characters to words until the entire word is deleted and then retyped;

-it autocorrects words AFTER the sentence is completed

-doesn’t depend on the app…does it in Firefox, safari, twitter, search fields, etc.

when will these issues be fixed?
