According to AutoCad’s support documents it does support the Mac, including the current version of macOS Monterey 12
But the bottom line is that these developers must decide to fully support the macOS platform and some have not. The Mac is becoming more and more popular. As an architect you might want to contact AutoDesk and lobby them for full support.

My solution for Windows-only apps is a Mac virtual Machine and run Windows on the Mac. Practically speaking, you'll need an Intel CPU Mac to do that.
Virtual machines like VMWARE will not work on any M-series Mac. They require an Intel Mac.
From VWWare's home page:
If a Mac version of a given app is not available, and you must use that app, you can't use a Mac.

I prefer VMWare Fusion for a VM.
Didn't I indicate that? I believe so, but whatever. Theoretically with the ARM version of Windows you can use Apple silicone, But that's just not practical yet. So from a practical standpoint .......
A professional should not be using theoretical solutions or untested/unreleased software. The OP says he wants to buy a MacBook and that means it would be an M1 MacBook, which means Windows cannot be installed under any circumstances at the present time for mission critical work, period.
Of course, the OP could buy an older, preowned or refurbished Intel MacBook and install Windows on that machine.
Apologies. I now see you did.
