My watch
My watch doesn’t light up when I look at it,
I have to press the button on the side,
I have a orange dot at the top of my watch.

Use Control Center on your Apple Watch to turn off Theater Mode:
Turn Theater Mode on or off.3
3. This turns on Silent Mode and the screen stays dark until you tap or press a button. You can also wake your watch screen gradually by turning the Digital Crown.
