My new computer goes to sleep even though the screen saver option to keep it alive is unchecked. Is there another check to be done?

I missed that as I ordinarilly do not go into ENERGY SAVER except when I has a UPS monitor cable installed and have not found one of those unless paying huge shipping for small part.
