Tried to do the latest update today on my iPhone 11 and I am getting the error message.

Tried to do the latest update today on my iPhone 11 and it is telling me to connect to my computer. When I do that, I tried to follow the instructions on how to update. I get the apple on my screen but then it goes back to the first screen and it won't update.
