How do I turn off classroom mode for my own series 7? Turning Digital Crown in control Center not working

Have you tried turning the Digital Crown without Control Center opened? If not, give that a try. The steps below can also be found here: Use Schooltime on Apple Watch - Apple Support
Exit Schooltime temporarily
Your child can exit Schooltime temporarily to do things like check messages. To exit Schooltime, turn the Digital Crown, then tap Exit to confirm.
If a Schooltime schedule is active, Schooltime mode resumes automatically.
