updating software

1.) Need help updating Catalina 10.15.7 on 2015 MacBook Pro. Had all kinds of issues and was not able to update sooner. I need to update to at least 11.1. Would love to get up to Monterey.

2) if I have to update each version of 10 and 11, will I keep losing storage every time I update?

3) How do I free up space as I go? I've got 60Gb left.

You should be able to upgrade straight to Monterey. 60GBs is plenty to install it.
