Is there a high school rate for Apple Music on an iphone? My son is age 16 but only attending high school.

Unfortunately, No. The Apple Music student discount is for those perusing school beyond HS.

student studying a bachelor degree, post-graduate degree, or equivalent
Higher Education course at a University, College (U.S. only) or
Post-Secondary School (Canada only). Junior, technical colleges, and
