My brother can unlock iPhone with Face ID

My brother is 2 years younger than me and 50LBs heavier than me. For some odd reason he can unlock my phone using Face ID. We tried it a 100 times and it worked a 100 time.

I also tried unlocking his phone using Face ID but I wasn’t able to.

my phone is XS MAX. Any idea what is the issue ??

I know of one pair of unrelated adults which can pass Face ID for each other too, though that’s very rare.

In the spirit of “leaving no stone unturned” …

… does your brother know your passcode and could he have possibly setup himself as the 2nd appearance in your FaceID?

(this is FAR more likely w/ child siblings than grown adults)

Suggest you try resetting your FaceID.

If it still unlocks for your brother, congrats; you’re indeed a statistical anomaly. 😉
