Apple ID Allow Apps to Request to Track age requirement bug

I have recently turned 18 about 3 weeks ago, and my Apple ID is now an adult account. However, there's an issue where when I try to allow apps to track, it does not allow me to. It simply greys out the toggle on options for tracking and displays the message "This setting cannot be changed because your Apple ID does not meet the minimum age requirements." I had searched up for solutions on google and the only one I found was signing out of your Apple ID and signing back in and power cycling the device. I have used this method two times now and each time it works, but then the settings reverts back to being greyed out and turned off, whilst also displaying the same message regarding not meeting Apple's minimum age requirements. I have also tried changing my date of birth on the Apple ID, but that does not work either. This issue is so small, yet so irritating. If anyone has a permanent solution to this, please let me know. Thanks.
