Date picker app broken in iOS 15

Using iphone 13, iOS 15.5


I am trying to set my birthdate in the date picker app of the United Airlines app. I can select the day and month, but cannot select the year. Specifically, the years from 2022 to 2004 are black in color and can be chosen but the years from 2003 and earlier are greyed out and if one selects any of those years, the wheel just spins back to 2004. This was not a problem on my iphone 11, but when I upgraded to the iphone 13 this started happening.


I do not know if this is specific to the United app, or across the board for all apps in iOS 15. Can anyone suggest another iphone app with a date picker wheel that I could use to test this?


Is this date picker app glitch a known problem?

First, try a forced restart. If that doesnt work, then contact the app developer for help with their software.


Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
