Why does my iPhone X touchscreen get slowly worse?

Ever since the iOS 15 update, my touchscreen has been experiencing ghost touches, and it is slowly getting worse. I reset my phone, reloaded with iCloud, and then it was fine again….for a couple of days. I have reset my phone 4 times and each time it is fine for a couple days but slowly the ghost touches start and slowly get worse until my phone is almost unusable.

Why is this happening? And, is apple working on an update to fix this problem?

Also, I took it to the Apple Store and they verified that it is not the hardware, it is a software issue.
