Notes merging

We understand you wish to merge Notes from your Mac and iPad. We'll do our best to help out with this.

If you are using the same iCloud account on both devices, you can enable iCloud Notes in order to sync them: Set up iCloud for Notes on all your devices - Apple Support

If you are using different iCloud accounts, then you would not be able to merge your notes together. If you're using another syncing service for Notes, then it would be best to reach out to the email provider for support.

We're going to need to get some additional information and have you try a few more steps.

1. What is responding and not responding? The Notes app, your device or something else?
2. What happens if you create a new note?
3. We also want to determine if the issue is in the note going from your Mac to iCloud servers, your iPad to iCloud servers or iCloud servers to one of the devices. Here's how to do that:

Isolate notes sync.

1. Create new note on Mac. Write and format notes on Mac
2. Check iCloud website (iCloud), does note appear there?
3. If so, check iPad does note appear there?
4. Then, create new note on iPad Use Notes on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
5. Check iCloud website (iCloud), does note appear there?
6. If so, check Mac, does note appear there?
