Nissan CarPlay static & crackling noise

My 2020 Nissan Leaf has serious static & crackling interference noise when using either USB port for CARPLAY. The noise occurs 95% of the time using MESSAGES/TEXTING App when carplay is speaking. It ALSO occurs during phone calls. The noise gets worse the moment vehicle goes into motion. Tried multiple different CORDS, iPHONES. Happens with them ALL no matter what iOs, phone, or cord.

If disconnected from CARPLAY (unplugging USB) and connecting via bluetooth, the phone calls are perfect.

Nissan says this has been under investigation for a future TSB fix, but I am getting tired of waiting after 1.5 years.

I appreciate your reply. I have tried removing Nissan "my car" from the CarPlay settings, then adding again. No change. Also tried turning off bluetooth. No change. Also tried turning off 'data transmission' per another suggestion. Problem still occurs in every setting attempt. Since this happens with any iphone any iOS, I have a feeling this is an interface-hardware defect with Nissan vehicle itself.
