Everything I could tell you about volumes adjustment is in my user tip
How do the various iPhone volume controls… - Apple Community
IE they should all be controlled by ringer volume, except in Japan where the shutter sound cannot be modified.
Having said that most people want to turn all three of those sounds off as they annoy many people who post here!

Theres something wring with your phone.
You should arrange a repair iPhone Repair - Official Apple Support
Or
Contact - Official Apple Support
Anything other than Screen or Battery may be a replacement phone and the price is in the article under "Other damage"

Those three sounds would be considered background (quiet) sounds anyway.
Should be adjusted along with Ringtone.

Thanks for the reply.
I understand fully your advice. However this is not the first time I have encountered this problem.
My memory doesn’t serve me well as to a time frame in the past. I do remember that in each case, either lock sound, keyboard clicks and camera shutter button, which ever mode I was in, each time there was an activation the sound increased to what I assumed was a maximum level of which I could not determine. The side volume switch could be anywhere between min. to max. it made no difference to the number of activations before a maximum level was reached. In the case of keyboard sounds it was even more elusive at times with at a guess sometimes up to twenty taps to reach reasonable volume. Camera shutter performed the same way ie: several shutter activations before reaching a certain level.
No one to date could offer an explanation to this annoying problem.
As this is a new iPhone 12 I was to say the least dumbfounded. And yes I have reset all settings.
I do understand your post and fully agree what is normal procedure.
However I must emphasise that all these suggestions have been tried. The fact of the matter is that no matter what sound settings are applied. The end result is the same.
Again I will repeat what happens. If I activate to lock the screen several times in succession the volume increases each time. If I activate the camera shutter button several times in succession the volume gradually increase. If I type on Safari search bar, each key tap increases in volume. I am an Apple user since 2001 and have helped others over the years.
This one has me baffled as it has with others !!
