Accidentally opened up a spam text message, did NOT open link/url/attachment! battery drain!

iOS 15.6 iPhone 13 Pro Max

I accidentally opened up a spam text message but I did NOT click on the link/url/attachment.

I deleted it immediately & I restarted my phone (regular restart) today I just tried a hard restart & it's still terrible!

Now today battery life is at it's worst! I even noticed "home accessories" & I don't have the HomeKit app, nor do I use Bluetooth (it's always off) (99% battery health, which is awesome but it doesn't act like it!)

Dark appearance dims wallpaper, automatic brightness on, dark appearance on, bluetooth off, normally cellular data off (if it is on I only use LTE instead of 5G to save battery life), background app refresh off, Siri off, Siri suggestions (every single one off for every app), automatic downloads & updates off, analytics & diagnostics off, location services off, very few notification settings are on, 30 second screen turn off settings, no music playing, no apps in the background, etc. it's absolutely terrible! It's as bad as my iPhone 8 Plus I had before I got this brand new iPhone 13 Pro Max right when it came out last year!

Did someone hack into it? Virus? Adware? Malware?

You can't be hacked just by reading a text message. It is highly unlikely that your phone has been hacked (unless, as noted above, you've jailbroken it).

You say your battery life is awful but don't actually give any details. Can you go up to the top of that screen you screenshotted?

Based on the way you've described how you've got your phone set up, I would expect that it would be a bit slow, maybe even seem glitchy. Also, force-quitting apps that are in suspended (not the app your currently using) can actually decrease your battery life. The exceptions would be apps playing music or navigation apps.

I'd suspect that the "Home Accessories" is a minor glitch.
