Damage to Screen New MacBook Air

My data is being transferred from a Time Machine to my new MacBook Air but still has 18 hours to go at a transfer rate of 2.7 MB per s. My concern is that I cannot dim the screen or put up a screen saver. Is that a concern? Thanks....

Full-Screen Brightness During Data Transfer:

It Is operating how it should. A process is being run. So, all is fine. If you are concerned for heat, then do as I always do, and user a laptop color for each device. As for the speed, it is a bit slow. Time remaining with decrease as this process' time elapses.
