my phone randomly shuts down and restarts itself. theses past few days i have been trying to back it up but i cant due to the fact that it like to shuts itself down, in order for it to stop shutting down i have to back it up because i have been told that was the problem for it shutting all because it wasn't backed up.

You could try to connect it in recovery mode to your computer and see if the option "Update iPhone" will work.
In that case your data will be saved and a new iOS version will be installed.
