Is Siri supported?
Perhaps it never got the traction it needed? Perhaps it's at end of life and something new is coming? I don't see it on the product support page. I have many, too many perhaps, MacBooks and phones and whilst I've never been very impressed with Siri, I'm now a caregiver and looking for better accessibility options. While I won't chatter about the obvious about intelligence or lack of, I'd like the following...
- On a mac, the Siri window should be movable. I have a secondary monitor and often move the dock to that screen because those many pesky notifications block my work screen. Unfortunately, Siri sits there too and is awkward at best to reach. Perhaps it's not really an app, as it does not behave and conform to the standards of most apps.
- I'd like Siri to appear on the product support page. The page is extensive already, but in all fairness, if Siri is not in support, or no longer under development, or anticipated to be replaced by something smarter, that's all fine then; leave it out.
- I'd like Siri configurable to announce events. I'm caregiving and cannot see the Macbook screen all the time, nor the phone; I'd like the calendar appointment meeting that is about to start to be announced... about to start... starting.
- I'd like Siri to listen smartly. If I tell Siri on my phone to join the meeting, then join there. If I tell Siri at my Mac to join, then join there. I can mouse across devices; why shouldn't Siri work across devices?
