Menu bar randomly moving to other screen

I have a MacBook Pro (2018) and I typically use two screens, but sometimes the menu bar will randomly just jump to the other screen and I have to move it back. It's annoying, is there any way to stop this from happening?

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities, mickeyroxsox,

You should see the menu bar on whichever display you have an active app open in. If you're seeing the menu bar switch displays when not looking at a specific app on that display, we would suggest going through the following troubleshooting to get started. This first steps can help clear up small issues that may have begun since the last time you restarted or installed software:

  1. Quit any open apps: Quit apps on Mac - Apple Support and restart your Mac: Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support
  2. Check for, and install, any available macOS updates: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support
  3. Check for, and install, any available app updates: Use the App Store to update apps on Mac - Apple Support
  4. See if the issue is present in a brand new user account: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac - Apple Support

If the issue continues after that, don't hesitate to reach back out. If you do, let us know if this occurs when using a particular app.

Enjoy your weekend.
