Sharing my location

I Can track my family members in Google Maps, but they can’t see me - is this a setting that I have to change?

How can I show a different location from where I am actually located on family sharing ok by a I occasionally can not let my family see my real physical location on family sharing but I also need to try and not make it obvious I’ve turned off location services . What’s the best ways to do this . I have been reading about airplane e mode and also having two different apple devices but I’m still uncertain about the technicalities when utilizing either of them. Can someone let me know the details and be as specific as possible . Scenarios or examples would be much appreciated. BTW the sooof app and using a computer seems a little inconvenient but I’m open to best options. Thank you

Family members can see my devices location, but not my ”people” location How are these connected (device location vs. people location), how do I get myself show in ”Find my” app as a person, not just all my devices. Currently it says ”Location not available” below my name (or something similar, I don’t use it in English). I would like to have my personal location based on where my iPhone is.

Assuming that you meant Family Sharing on Apple’s FindMy …

Indeed it is.

Look in Settings -> AppleID (Name) -> Family Sharing -> Location Sharing -> Share my Location.

If you REALLY meant Google Maps … presumably Google support might provide better guidance.
