Sharing my location

I Can track my family members in Google Maps, but they can’t see me - is this a setting that I have to change?

Assuming that you meant Family Sharing on Apple’s FindMy …

Indeed it is.

Look in Settings -> AppleID (Name) -> Family Sharing -> Location Sharing -> Share my Location.

If you REALLY meant Google Maps … presumably Google support might provide better guidance.
