apple watch & Ganglion cyst

After wearing my apple watch for 5 months, I had tingling in my wrist at night when I wasn't wearing the watch and a ganglion cyst appeared on my hand.

After wearing a new apple watch for one week, a painful cyst developed on the top my wrist where I was wearing the watch. When I finally made the connection, I stopped wearing the watch & within two days the swelling has nearly disappeared. I may try a different band (perhaps some fabric more breathable than plastic). Severe Rash from Apple Watch Ultra 2 Use I purchased an Apple Watch Ultra 2 with a standard band in December 2024. After wearing the watch daily for approximately four weeks, I developed a severe rash on the backside of my wrist. The area of my wrist where the band made contact initially darkened (I am Black), appearing burnt in texture. Despite adjusting the fit—tightening the band to prevent movement—the irritation worsened within 1.5 weeks, resulting in broken skin. The affected area now looks severely damaged, with peeling skin that resembles a skin disease. I have been an Apple Watch user for many years and have never experienced any allergic reactions or skin issues with previous bands. This reaction appears unique to the material of the Ultra 2’s band. I stopped wearing the watch immediately after noticing the worsening condition of my wrist. I allowed my skin to heal naturally, but it remains in poor condition with visible peeling and discoloration. As anyone else had a similar experience?

Apple Watch wrist/hand pain I have had my Apple Watch for 3 years now and I believe it is causing pain in my wrist and hand. I do not wear the band tight but snug enough for it to read. It is also a stretchy band so it moves with my wrist. My wrist is to the point where if I flex my wrist down it shoots pain throughout my hand. The pain starts right where my watch sits and on the tendon. No this is not a sports injury or a job related injury. It started a year into wearing the watch and has gotten worse which is why I believe it is the watch. I’m reading other people are having the same issue. I feel like there is a bigger issue relating to the watch being bad for your health. Idk looking for answers here!

It's unlikely that there is a causal relationship between the two discrete events.
