Apple TV won’t open on my Samsung tv
Apple TV won’t open on my Samsung tv; tried the app “reinstall” but no luck. All other apps run perfectly. It’s not an internet connection problem. We only stream now thru google Fiber.

This link has some great steps to get things back to normal when the Apple TV app isn’t working as expected.
If that article doesn’t help and you can access settings on the app, you will want to try these steps next: Reset the Apple TV app - Apple Support
These steps will remove all personal information, TV shows, and movies from the smart TV.
