Contact the school and ask them what computing resources will be best for your course of study. You need to be 100% compatible with the curriculum, other students, and the professors.

Even given the power of the top end iPad Pro, I'd still choose a real notebook for serious work. For me, sooner or later, I always need the features of a notebook over an iPad
