Wish duck duck go was duck duck gone I’m trying to take duck duck go off my iPhone. It will not allow me to do that and get back to using SAFARI. Know how?

DuckDuckGo app not working on my iPhone 7 running iOS 15.8.3 I’ve got an iPhone 7 running 15.8.3 (latest ver for this phone). I had been using the DDG app for the past 4 years with no issues at all. Yesterday the DDG app just quit working. Here’s what happens….. from my Home Screen I press the DDG icon, the screen changes to all white with a DDG logo for about 10-15 seconds then my Home Screen is displayed. NO DDG ! Go to Settings>safari>search engine and replace DuckDuckGO for another search engine
