Hi

Are you running any third party firewall or other security software? If so try disabling it.

If not, then try restarting your mac in safe mode and then trying.

Then restart normally, and try again.

Safe mode will clear temporary files and caches, and sometimes fixes odd glitches such as this.

As a test - try creating a new empty library. Import some photos. Can it look up the locations?

Also try creating a new user account, and try with the library in that account.

This will identify if the problem is system wide, or just associated with a particular library or account.

I'm assuming the Mac has a good internet connection. Where is the library stored? if on an external drive, what is the format?
