Before and After Market prices on Stocks App on iOS and MacOS

Related to stocks price movements outside of market hours.

Why does the app only show after market prices and never pre market prices?

I believe the data is took from Yahoo Finance as well, which does have access to pre market data too?

Could Apple correct this, seems strange to have one but not the other.

Why does Stocks Still not show premarket data Seems like a programming issue when app was created. The app shows aftermarket data but not premarket which makes absolutely zero sense not to have both especially when the data source yahoo finance has both…… PLEASE FIX!!!!!

Stocks App After Hours Prices (Redux) The answer given by Apple Support to the previous thread by this name wasn’t clear on how to get after-hours stock prices. Tap on the stock to display its chart, then tap on 1D to display prices for the day. This will show the after-hours price in the upper-right corner, as was previously the default for all of the chart timeframes. YTD price change is certainly useful, but shouldn’t be the default. Also, when making a change like this, display a pop-up explaining the change, how to get after-hours prices, etc., first time the updated app is launched. Even better, just display after-hours prices *and* YTD price change in the upper right. There’s room.

Stocks app not showing Dow Jones or S&P changes What’s up with the stocks app? Both my husband and I haven’t been getting normal info on the app like the change for Dow Jones or S&P and doesn’t give the changes on other stocks. We’ve tried removing app and reinstalling but that doesn’t work. This has been going on for almost a week-I’ve got the iPhone 13 and he has the iPhone 12 mini.
