iOmega backup delete

I moved time machine previous backups from iOmega to the bin on my Mac and that is where they now reside. I started emptying the bin but I stopped this procedure. I understand now that this was the wrong thing to do. Should I continue to empty the bin or try to move the backups back to iOmega - Help!

time machine backups in Ventura In all macOSs prior Ventura there was a way to delete complete backups or certain files/folders from within Time Machine. It was a simple right click and a selection of one of these options. Now, all is gone. I cannot delete a backup by date, nor I can remove instances of files/folders I want. Is there any way of doing it properly? Thank you

How to delete Time Machine backups I have a new MacBook Air and I set it up as new, as opposed to using my MacBook Pro backup on Time Machine. I have everything on my new MacBook Air because it is all pretty much stored in the cloud. I have just made my first backup of the new MacBookAir to Time Machine so, I would now like to get rid of my MacBook Pro backups. What is the best way to get it done?

Sadly, your only choice if you trashed TM files in the Finder instead of within TM, then you must erase the TM drive & start all over.

First do this, then format that drive &ad it to TM again...
