I got water damage on Iphone xs max, then a green screen with connect to apple ... to restore. I have done this and then the apple logo keeps flashing. I have an appt in a few days to have apple look at it but can anyone give me tips?

Be prepared to purchase a new phone is the best tip I've got. Water damage is not fixable.
