Turn off Apple Watch crown for volume control

This question is already asked and answered. I wanted to add a different answer but the previous question is closed. So here's my answer to the incredibly broken user experience of catching the crown on your sleeve/pocket and having the volume go crazy:

Open the watch app on your iphone
Search for "Auto-launch Audio Apps" in the Display & Brightness settings
Disable "Auto-launch Audio Apps"

How can I disable the Digital Crown scroll feature on my Apple Watch? Hi there! This "new" feature is very frustrating and causing a flood of negative emotions. When exercising, moving hands a lot or even attempting press a crown (while running) I keep turning the wheel which results in this annoying (and IMHO not very useful) menu. I honestly tried to find reasons to love this but failed. Is there a way to disable this? I tried "Wake on crown rotation" -> off, but it doesn't make any difference. iWatch, turn off crown volume control I frequently get my ears blasted when im using my iphone to play white noise via my ispeaker. Im finding it REALLY annoying that my iWatch defaults to volume controls when i HAVE the device im using im my hands already. I know pressing the crown dismisses it but sometimes i forget then end up hating apple just a little bit every time my ears bleed. I would like to turn off this “feature” or at the very least not make it the default. Help?
