How do I log out of 2022 MacBook Pro? It has a shut down option but did not see log out optioned

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 12.3

There are (usually) log out, restart, and shutdown entries available in the 🍎 menu.

Log out of your account on your Mac - Apple Support

If you’re somehow booted into Recovery or such, options are fewer.

Your macOS does need to be updated, if you’re still running macOS 12.3.
