Why is my iPod Video making weird noises?

So I recently bought a iPod Video Enhanced and I have encountered a sound glitch that I had encountered with my iPod Touch 3rd Generation where it will make this weird high pitched alien-ish crackling noise. It was less noticeable on bassy songs with my iPod Touch 3rd Generation and since I had Airpods, I used them instead of the Earpods but now I am left with no choice as I have chosen an obsolete product. The software IS updated. Does anybody know a fix for this? Sound check and EQ are off. I really hope I don't have to get some 3rd-Party Bluetooth Module as other then nostalgic reasons, I got the iPod for it's sound card capabilities.

Hi G3_mac,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you're not hearing sound as you'd expect from your iPod, correct? If so, check out the troubleshooting steps outlined here to help you to isolate this behavior further: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

Are you able to recreate the same behavior while your AirPods are connected to your iPod? If so, which AirPods are you using?

We look forward to your reply.

Cheers!
