I don’t get red lines under misspelled words

I’m not sure what is going on with my iPad, but I do not get red lines under misspelled words. I’m at the point where I may do a factory reset because it’s driving me mad.

I don’t get the red lines no matter the input method… swiping with the Apple onscreen keyboard, G-Board, Magic Keyboard or a bluetooth connected keyboard.

Any thoughts?

Well I just figured it out after posting this topic. I deleted G-Board from my iPad and now I’m getting red lines.
