How to get imported photos off iPad onto Mac?

I have an Olympus E-410 and the iPad can import and display the RAW files from this camera through the USB cable. If I mail one of these files to myself, it appears as a RAW file, so I know all the data's being preserved in the iPad.

However, when I connect the iPad to the Mac, I can open iPhoto (09) or Image capture, but all I see are the Saved Photos on the iPad. The Last Import, All Imports and any other folders appear not to exist as far as these Mac apps are concerned. How do I get pictures imported from my camera onto my Mac and into my Aperture (I can’t use Aperture to do this because the only version that supports iPad is 3.x which only runs on Intel boxes, and I don't have an Intel box)? And no, I don't want to have to mail 50 6MB files to myself every time.

Thanks for any help...

Through an Eye-Fi card, and an iPad app called ShutterSnitch, $7.99, you can wirelessly transmit photos to your iPad. You'll have to contact Eye.fi for Olympus E-410 compatibility.

deals.woot.com has a $29.95 deal on the Eye-fi card, today only. You can learn more about wireless tethering to an ipad here:

Just today I purchased the above for my Canon S90 and do not have any personal experience to offer yet.
