Trash Function in Mail

For some reason I can no longer swipe to delete messages on apple mail. I’m only seeing an archive option. How do I get this back?

Settings>Mail>Accounts>[your account]>Advanced>Move deleted messages to: Trash

When done, restart your iPhone, then test it.
