Clamshell mode with peripherals

So I have peripherals that I require to be used with my 13 inch Macbook pro M1. However I also need to use the mac in clamshell mode. Does someone have any idea how I can do that? Because Apple in all their stupidity just gave us 2 thunderbolt port and if I use my hub for power delivery, there are reports of that frying the motherboard.

Hello adriandelato.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. In order to use your Mac in "Clamshell" mode, you will need to connect your power adapter to your Mac. For example, if you're trying to connect an external display to your Mac but want your Mac closed: Connect a display to your Mac - Apple Support

To use your Mac with the display closed, you need to connect your power adapter or connect an external display that also charges your Mac, such as the Apple Studio Display or 23.7-inch LG UltraFine 4K Display.

So connecting your power adapter or an accessory that can also power your Mac will help. If you don't have an accessory that can power your Mac, you might need to purchase an adapter that expands your ports. We hope this information is helpful. Cheers.
