iPad activation locked out - Have original receipt however
My wife’s iPad of two years is locked out - She has the original receipt , factory box - Was bought at Best Buy - Get this , however the original receipt serial number did not match the iPad itself - She was at Best Buy four times before I was able to talk with a store manager - The original receipt was one letter off - Yes one letter off - Apple would not do anything for her - I was able to get the store manager to correct the original receipt to match the serial number of the iPad - The individual who made this mistake originally at Best Buy of course no longer works there - So we have a new original receipt that matches the serial number of her iPad and Apple support still can’t resolve the issue , dead serious - Why ? Honestly why can’t anyone help her thru Apple support over the phone - Thanx Scott - And of course Best Buy , we have never seen this issue before and won’t let her return it because it’s out of the factory warranty return limit - All she wants is her IPad back
