After deleting an accessory in home app i can't add it back

I deleted my Eve air quality sensor from the home app because it was no longer connecting. After a reset of the sensor I got it working again but now I can’t add it back to the home app (or the Eve app for that matter). It keeps saying the accessory can’t be added because it was already added (it’s not showing in the app anymore. It says I should reset it but I already did this. Any workarounds available for this?
