Notes password not working even after reset

Hello, it looks like I have found the solution, sorry to say but may be your encryption logic you have said above is not accurate as I am able to unlock my old notes after almost 8-10 hours since I did that Notes password reset. I am able to unlock and lock old notes (which were encrypted by old password). It looks like Apple backend system takes time to propagate changes across their internal system to reflect new changes after reset.

So basically there is a way around notes encryption and Its worth as we are human and with so much of passwords these days its hard to remember everything. I am glad that notes password reset feature actually works even though it takes several hours to apply it.

After resetting password from here, it took me around 8-10 hours or may its like 24 hours of window or something but very next I was able to unlock old note using new password.

Thanks for swift response, so basically if you forgot your password of old notes then technically there is no way to reset ever?
