iPhone 13 Pro Max alarms sounds loudly with silent setting

I have my phone on silent but my alarm screams full blast. I often am in court or in 911 dispatch center and can’t have any interruptions like this. When I have my phone off silent I expect it to sound off and vibrate. How can I fix this problem with settings or is my phone faulty?

Alarm silent Hi I’ve seen old threads about this issue but no solution. I have the iPhone 12mini, only 6months old and for the 3rd time my multiple alarms randomly didn’t make sound. They did go off and kept snoozing themselves for hours. I’ve sat and watched alarms and timers on my phone and they don’t make sound, just a notification on the screen. I’ve checked all the usual things that are advised. Ringer was on a high volume, nothing connected via Bluetooth, do not disturb was not on. Please help, I’m seriously regretting switching from android at the moment.

Alarm sounds low on iPhone 11 When I go to set an alarm and go to pick the sound I want it’s very loud but when the alarm goes off it’s very quiet I looked it up and it said to go to sound and something and turn it all the way up I did that my phone volume is all the way up and so is the sound whatever how do I fix this [Re-Titled by Moderator]

The alarm will play even when the ringer switch is put off. That is how it is designed.
