Mail takes up a lot of space

Hello,

After the iOS 15 update, I noticed that the mail app stores 4 GB in the iPad storage. I deleted about 500 mails in my mailbox, it didn't work.

Then I started researching on the Internet and the sources I found usually told me to log in to Settings> Mail> Accounts and then log out of both my iCloud and Gmail accounts, I also tried this, but without a successful result. As I have noticed, after the iOS 15 release, many users, including me, continue to experience it. This situation is starting to get annoying. I would be very happy if you could help.
