Apple Watch calories

When I took my watch off last night to charge it, the total calories for the day were 2,697. When I checked the app the AM, the total calories had jumped to 2,887- even though the watch had not been on and was charging. Has anyone else experienced this/know why this happens??

Apple watch calorie count lower than usual So i do a lot of exercise tracking with my watch series 3 suddenly my watch is now tracking way less calories than usual. Example i usually walk to work witch is just over a 9K walk, id usually burn around 500-650 calories while tracking with the walk workout. Apple Watch overnight resting calories Prior to Updating with the new 17.1.2 iOS, my Apple Watch would burn resting calories when on charge overnight. I’d start the day with approx 500 calories. However, since the update, my count is at zero from putting my watch on. Is there a way to get this back as I was able to track how many over my 2000 calories I had for weight loss.

Apple Watch move ring My Apple Watch has lost move calories the last two days. I looked at it today at 6:00 and I had over 1000 move calories and now at 6:18 it says 826 move calories so I don’t get my challenge calories for this day. Why is this happening?

Calibrating your Apple Watch improves calorie measurements, as well as distance and pace accuracy. In order to calibrate, follow the steps in this article: Calibrating your Apple Watch for improved Workout and Activity accuracy.
