Has my iPhone been hacked?

What does it mean when the appearance of everything on my screen becomes slightly “fuzzy” and everything speeds up? Is someone else controlling my phone?

Unless you have jailbroken your phone, or someone has had access to it for a significant amount of time while it was unlocked or you are a high-profile activist, journalist, or politician whose data would be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to acquire, your phone has not been hacked. It is far more likely that what you're seeing is a hardware problem.

You can rule out a software issue by backing up your phone and restoring it to factory state. If the problem disappears, then it was something that was installed on your phone. It is preferalbe to do this using a computer as that way, you'll get a fresh copy of iOS.

If it does not, you most likely have a hardware issue and will need to have your phone serviced.

Possibly an application issue ? Is it happening all the time ?

You could start by backing up your phone - just in case something goes wrong.

Then, turn of all background apps....

if it still happens, you could reset the phone to it's "Factory Settings" (Settings->General->Transfer or Reset iPhone).

If having done that, the iPhone still exhibits the issue, then it's more than likely a hardware issue - in which case, you should raise a support query with Apple Official Apple Support

Hope this helps.

Another thing to try, just in case you think someone is controlling your phone.

Turn off WiFi and Cellular, and Bluetooth, and then restart the iPhone.

That of course, won't eliminate a rogue application, but will severe any link with a 3rd party.

Though as I suggested before, you may need to delete apps, and/or reset your phone to troubleshoot the issue.
