8 Plus how to set contact default method

How do I set a Mobil as default contact. One of my contacts always tries to use email and I need Mobil text on my 8 Plus device

I see it posted that "To change the default phone number or email address for a contact method, touch and hold the button for that method below the contact’s name, then tap a selection in the list." That’s a setting that must be changed on the contacts phone, not your phone.
