Turbotax forms (PDF Forms) not printing field entries, and other errors

I've updated to Monterey 12.5, updated to the latest Canon driver for my Pixma MX 922 (920 Series) printer, deleted and recreated the printer in systems preferences. When I print directly from Turbotax 2021, or save as pdf and try to print from Preview or Adobe Reader, the from show on screen with the field entries, but the field entries fail to print. Also when printing forms to file the Turbotax logo prints alone on a page, when on screen it is coupled with filing instructions. quick look shows the field entries as well on screen. Printer configured with Bonjour.

Hi,

Are you using the MX920 series CUPS Printer Driver Ver. 16.40.1.0 (Mac) Canon driver

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mx-series-inkjet/mx922

(from 10/25/21) via a network connection,

or are you using AirPrint (which does not require a driver from the printer manufacturer)?

The Canon MX922 is listed as a supported printer in About AirPrint - Apple Support. The printer and the Mac computer must be connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router) in order to use AirPrint. AirPrint works with both wired (Ethernet) and wireless (Wi-Fi) connections to the router.

Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac – Apple Support (UK)

Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem – Apple Support (UK)

If necessary, you could also test the AirPrint capability by using an iPhone/iPad.
