PCloud download will not open on MacBook Pro with M1 chip

The file in the Apps listing has a red flag - no indication of what it wants.

I am downloading pCloud to a new MacBook Pro with M1 running Monterey 12.5. Followed all procedures multiple times. App file still has a red flag and will not respond. Have the latest versison of MacFUSE (which is required) installed.

The cloud site has no suggestions. Anyone running this successfully?

This has the feel of a pCloud problem regardless of they may say. The developer is responsible for making the product work with Apple's OS, not the other way around.
